There is more to a week than appointments
Getting out, seeing people, doing something you chose — that part of life matters as much as the practical help, and a lot of what we do exists to make it possible.
Why this is part of support, not an extra
Community inclusion is one of the supports ABCare delivers under its Disability Support Program contract. It is not a social add-on to the "real" work — for most people it is the point of the real work.
What that looks like depends entirely on the person. Some people want a standing weekly thing with the same group. Some want help getting to something they already do. Some want company for one afternoon and nothing else.
What is on right now
We are not listing activities here until we can list the real ones, with real photographs of people who have agreed to be shown. Ask us what is running and we will tell you what is actually happening this month.
