Privacy
What this website collects, what happens to it, and who to ask about it. The short version: the site itself collects nothing, and the only information we get is what you choose to type into a form.
Drafted September 2026
What this policy covers
This policy is about this website, abcare.ca, and the messages sent through it.
It does not cover the records ABCare keeps about the people it supports. Care records, assessments, and anything that forms part of a service agreement are handled separately and are subject to different rules. If you want to know what ABCare holds about you or someone you care for, ask us directly and we will tell you how that works.
What the website collects on its own
Nothing. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anyone else — no tracking pixels, no embedded maps, no social media widgets, no advertising. The typefaces are served from this site rather than fetched from a font provider, so visiting a page does not tell any third party that you were here.
Our web host keeps its own server logs, as every web host does. Those are the host’s records rather than ours and we do not use them to build any picture of who visits.
What you send us, and why
The forms on this site ask for your name, an email address, a phone number if you want to give one, what your message is about, when you would rather be contacted, and the message itself. On the careers page, the question about what your message is about is replaced by the kind of work you are interested in.
We use all of that for one thing: getting back to you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share it with anyone for marketing.
The message box deliberately asks you to leave out medical and health details. Please do. A web form is not the right place for them and we would rather cover that on the phone.
Where it goes
Form submissions are handled by Formspree, a form-processing service, which passes them on to us by email. That means your message passes through Formspree’s systems, which are outside Canada, and through our email provider. Both hold it under their own terms.
Nobody else receives it. Inside ABCare it goes to the people who need to read it in order to answer you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked about, and to have a record that the conversation happened.
This section is deliberately unfinished. ABCare has not yet set a retention period in writing, and we would rather say so than print a number that sounds precise and is not. Ask us if it matters to you.
Seeing or correcting what we hold
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the phone number or email address below and say what you are asking for.
If the request concerns care records rather than a website enquiry, say so — the process for those is different and we will explain it.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts doing something it does not do today — analytics, a booking system, an embedded map — this page changes first, and anything that requires your consent will ask for it before it runs.
