How accessible this website is
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA. This page says plainly what we have tested, what we have not tested yet, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page of this site.
What we have tested
- Text and colour contrast on every page, measured rather than estimated. One known exception: the text panel over the large photo at the top of some pages is see-through, and on some photos its text falls below the AA contrast level. If it is hard to read, tell us.
- Focus outlines, checked on every background colour used on the site, including the dark and coloured ones where an outline can disappear.
- Page structure: one main heading per page, headings in order, and landmarks so you can skip straight to the content.
- Every form field has a visible label that stays visible, and errors are announced rather than only shown in red.
- The site works with animation turned off, if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Nothing on the site depends on colour alone to make sense.
What we have not finished testing
- How the site behaves on a very narrow screen, and at 200% browser zoom.
- A full run-through with a screen reader.
- Keyboard order checked by hand, end to end, on every page.
These are being worked through.
There is no accessibility widget on this site
Some sites add a floating button to change contrast or font size. This site does not have one.
Those tools can interfere with the screen reader or browser settings you already use. We build the site so your own tools work.
